Hans Sagan is a Ph. D student in the department of Architecture at the University of California at Berkeley. He comes from a background in critical theory and cultural studies and is currently interested in control and reorganization of urban spaces for political purposes, theory and praxis of urban planning and integrating the liberatory and democratic aspects of poststructuralist thought to space and form.

He was once a postmodernist.
